When Calling for Humanity Is an Insult

PREAMBLE

Humanity is the instinct and fibre of morality in society. They tell us what is right and wrong and how to evaluate them. Thus, they are the grounds for severity or leniency, punishment or forgiveness in matters of justice. Does a thoroughly corrupt group with an arbitrary sense of justice have any right to call for humanity? It is laughable. Laugh well because it is self-mockery.

An organisation that will punish someone who keeps well over USD 260,000 for six years in his personal account. Then only to be sanctioned as a thief for accidentally spending USD 13, yes thirteen dollars! While members who stole or swindled the group and members out of tens or even hundreds of thousands of pounds or dollars were not even questioned. The examples can be piled up easily. Humanity? Is that a joke?

Imagine a group that spent decades beating members severely for major but mostly minor “offences.” The beatings only stopped with the threat of it being made public. That same group still uses strategic ostracism as its main tool of discipline. Discipline is necessary to reduce wrongdoing and crimes within systems. Yet here discipline is far more the abuse by an aggrieved ego. Not correction for wrongs, disobedience and error.

Strategic Ostracism is a year’s expulsion from the organisation. Well, for reasons other than genuine or trumped-up offences. It becomes strategic when pronounced days before a well-advertised wedding, birthday party, funeral. The purpose is the joy of satisfying the man in power’s ego.

What do you expect when people with dark triad traits dominate the leadership ranks. Those who lack such traits are often barred from holding or taking on power. Evil men always create conditions that perpetrate evils.

BANISHMENT AND APPROVAL WITHHOLDING

There is a silent evil that destroys more people than wars, pandemics, and natural disasters put together. In fact, it happens unnoticed in the most peaceful, healthy and flourishing milieus of society. It is easily the abuse of parents, guardians and adults against children by inflicting shunning and approval withholding on them.

Love and approval are only given to the child if they fulfil certain conditions. Conditional love has resulted in the maladjustment of billions of children who grow up with psychological and emotional issues that are ruinous to their well-being and sense of self. That is how narcissists, psychopaths, and people with personality disorders are raised. The organisation is a magnet for such people. Abuse becomes a way of life.

The group inflicts abuse on adults, i.e. conditional approval, for decades. Does it have the moral right to call for humanity for any reason? It’s all theatre. Or an act of washing hands. People have memories though.

Consider a girl forced to earn money to support her family by offering sexual services to men from age thirteen. How do you demand sexual morality from her in her mid-twenties? A boy who learns how to steal and fight in the streets from age eight and beyond. How do you turn him to desist from a life of crime as a grown man?

Is this not the territory of miracles?

REALITY CHECK

Adults who have been members of an organisation for two, eight, ten, twenty, thirty, forty years or more have been conditioned to fear expulsion or financial penalties for small or pardonable offences or mistakes. This is not the army. So, how do you expect such people not only to reconnect with their everyday feel for humanity overnight. And even share it among members and the rest of the world.

The most punished people within the group were crucified for calling or fighting for man’s humanity to man. Why is the call for humanity now so necessary or important. Did someone just wake up?

How about those who were traumatised, maimed or even killed? Or their families? They did not see or taste humanity from the group.

An organisation built on inhumanity cannot suddenly discover humanity.

Be good, not lucky.
